Import Requirements
1 Admissible Plant Parts: Root
2 Admissible Ports: Guam and CNMI
3 Import Permit Required: An Import Permit is required. To obtain a permit, go to e-Permits.
4 Subject to Inspection: This commodity is subject to inspection at the port of entry and all general requirements of 7 CFR 319.56-3.
5 Phytosanitary Certificate: Require a phytosanitary certificate issued by the National Plant Protecton Organziation (NPPO) of Australia (or Queensland Department of Primary Industries) affirming the commodity was produced in an area free of the red-legged earth mite, Halotydeus destructor (Tucker). If the phytosanitary certificate is missing or does not indicate the commodity was grown in an area free of the red-legged earth mite, refuse entry.
