Import Requirements
1 Admissible Plant Parts: Fruit
2 Federal Order: Federal Order DA-2017-15 ( effective 5/23/2017. All commercial and noncommercial shipments of fresh cherries must be accompanied by documentation confirming cherries were produced in a Province other than Ontario. If "origin confirmation" is absent or if documents indicate cherries are from Ontario, the importation is prohibited.
3 Admissible Ports: All Ports
4 Subject to Inspection: If grown in Canada, this commodity is subject to inspection at the port of entry and all general requirements of 7 CFR 319.56-10.
5 No Permit Required
6 Date Restriction: For field-grown crops, the growing season is May 1 through October 31.
